Soundbox

The Sweatbox has a long history of supporting local young musicians and putting on epic gig nights…..

We have a full gig set up in our stage room. This includes a P.A. lighting rig and a whole range of instruments for our young people to pick up and play including a drum kit, full size electronic piano, guitars and more.

We regularly host music nights featuring bands, solo acts, acoustic acts, DJ’s and more who come from both the local area and further afield to play at our events.

The stage room is available for any young person aged 11-19 to use as a rehearsal space for free. We also support external music lessons and offer musician mentoring sessions for young musicians.
