The Sweatbox is an open access community youth centre based in Wantage, Oxfordshire, supporting young people aged 11-19.

Youth workers are here to help teenagers in any way they can. Teenagers are here to have fun and teach youth workers how to do their job.

What’s Happening at Sweatbox?

Sweatbox Centre Site Open Nights

Our open sessions are currently for all young people in our community who are in school years 7-9 only, and our Sweatbox Union. £3 per session, 7pm-9.30pm. King Alfreds Academy, Centre Site.

Dates: Friday 13th March, Friday 8th May, Friday 22nd May, Friday 12th June, Friday 26th June, Friday 10th July.

Dungeons and Dragons Evenings

Open to school years 7-13. This is a is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game aimed at smaller groups. If you would like to join us for a quieter evening, please email (spaces limited): sweatbox@kas.cambrianlt.org

Kingsgrove Open Nights

Open to school years 7-13. 7pm until 9pm. Tickets are £2 on the gate. Wantage Primary Academy, Rutherford Road, Wantage, OX12 7GQ.

Dates: Monday 16th March, Monday 23rd March, Monday 13th April, Monday 20th April, Monday 27th April, Monday 11th May, Monday 18th May, Monday 1st June, Monday 8th June, Monday 15th June, Monday 22nd June, Monday 29th June, Monday 6th July, Monday 13th July.
